A hotel that asks the forest for permission
At 2,500 metres, where the clouds stay below in the valley and the forest keeps the time. Timber cabins the mountain found before you did.
Not one flattened the ground: they settled on stilts, timber and glass, wherever the hillside allowed. That is why no two are alike.
And what is inside comes from here too: the black clay, the wool, the Talavera and the murals, by Oaxacan hands. Nothing arrived from a catalogue.

Before you drive up
What time are check in and check out?
Check in is at 2:00 PM and check out at 12:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, you can wait at La Vaca de San José, the restaurant next door to the hotel.
How do I hold my booking?
On WhatsApp. Message us with your dates, how many you are and which cabin or room you like: reception confirms availability and you agree on payment. Nothing is booked or charged on the site.
Can I cancel?
Holding your dates on WhatsApp is free and nothing is charged in advance. If your plans change, tell us on WhatsApp as soon as possible and we'll release the dates at no cost. If you agreed a deposit with reception: refunded in full with more than 7 days' notice, held as credit for 6 months between 7 and 3 days, retained with less than 3 days' notice or a no-show. On high-demand dates (Easter week, long weekends, December) a deposit may be required to confirm.
How much is an extra guest?
The rate covers two people. Each additional guest adds $500 MXN per night, in any cabin or room, as long as the unit's capacity allows it.
