What time are check in and check out?
Check in is at 2:00 PM and check out at 12:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, you can wait at La Vaca de San José, the restaurant next door to the hotel.
How do I hold my booking?
On WhatsApp. Message us with your dates, how many you are and which cabin or room you like: reception confirms availability and you agree on payment. Nothing is booked or charged on the site.
Can I cancel?
Holding your dates on WhatsApp is free and nothing is charged in advance. If your plans change, tell us on WhatsApp as soon as possible and we'll release the dates at no cost. If you agreed a deposit with reception: refunded in full with more than 7 days' notice, held as credit for 6 months between 7 and 3 days, retained with less than 3 days' notice or a no-show. On high-demand dates (Easter week, long weekends, December) a deposit may be required to confirm.
How much is an extra guest?
The rate covers two people. Each additional guest adds $500 MXN per night, in any cabin or room, as long as the unit's capacity allows it.
Are meals included in the rate?
No. The rate covers the room only. La Vaca de San José, under the same ownership, is right next to the hotel and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel's coffee lounge does offer free coffee and tea around the clock.
Do you accept pets?
Yes, in the pet friendly rooms in Phase 2. Let us know when you book so we can assign you one.
How do I get to San José del Pacífico?
We are on highway 175. It is 140 km from Oaxaca City (about 3 hours), 145 km from Huatulco (about 3 hours) and 110 km from Puerto Escondido (about 2.5 hours).
¿Hay internet y luz si se va la energía?
Sí. Contamos con wifi, Starlink y planta de luz, además de Sky en las televisiones.
¿Hace frío? ¿Las habitaciones tienen calefacción?
Estamos en la Sierra Sur y sí hace frío, sobre todo de noche. Las habitaciones y cabañas de la Fase 1 tienen chimenea infrarroja eléctrica y las de la Fase 2 minisplit de aire caliente. Todas tienen agua caliente, toallas y batas.
¿Cuánto cuesta el jacuzzi?
$300 por una hora para dos personas. Se aparta al momento de reservar o directamente en recepción.
¿Puedo hacer un evento o taller?
Yes. The multipurpose hall seats up to 50 people for meetings, conferences, workshops and yoga: it has chairs, a half bath, a coffee maker and a terrace with a sofa. The whole property holds up to 100 people.
