The house on the hillside

Hotel Boutique y Cabañas Alto de la Sierra was built on a simple idea: the building should stay out of the forest's way. The cabins stand on stilts down the hillside, timber and glass, so the mountains are the first thing you see when you wake.

Every corner reflects careful attention to art and detail. The murals, the black clay pottery, the wool and the Talavera in the boutique are not catalogue decor — they are from this region.
